Frequently Asked Questions
Are PBT keycaps worth it?
Yes. PBT resists the greasy shine and wear that affects cheaper ABS caps, so sets like the HyperX Pudding stay looking fresh for years.
What are pudding keycaps?
They have a translucent lower layer that lets RGB lighting glow through brightly, giving your keyboard a vivid, illuminated look.
Will these fit my keyboard?
Most sets here support standard MX switches and a range of layouts, but always confirm your board’s size and switch type first.
Do keycaps affect gaming performance?
Indirectly. They change feel and grip rather than speed, but a comfortable, durable set can make long sessions more pleasant.
Final Thoughts
For a reliable, great-looking upgrade, the HyperX Pudding keycaps are the safe pick, while the Womier 164-key set offers outstanding coverage and value. Fans of a bold translucent aesthetic should try the dagaladoo jelly caps. Confirm your layout and switch type, and a fresh set of keycaps instantly revitalizes your board.
